Cosmetic Tattoo
A $150 non- refundable deposit is required at time of booking to secure the service. Please allow 2.5 hours for your first appointment & one hour for your follow-up appointment. 
 

On the odd occasion, for clients who are recreating the entire brow shape, a third appointment may be needed. This will be discussed with you in your consultation.
 

We unfortunately cannot work over old, permanent makeup, or over any semi-permanent/permanent makeup from other artists.
We also cannot perform the treatment on pregnant women. If you are breast feeding you must express for 24 hours after the treatment. 

 

You must be 18 years or over & you may be requested to provide ID.
 

Our Rules

These conditions apply to all offers, treatments and transactions between the nail salon and the customer on which the nail salon has applied these conditions to unless deviated and expressly and in writing have been agreed on by both parties.

 

Best Efforts

Lustre and Co. will perform the treatments to the best of its ability and in accordance with the requirements of good workmanship and the current state of science and technology. Lustre and Co.  and its staff will inform customers as much as possible and reasonable of financial consequences of the change or addition of treatment.
 

Appointments and Cancellation Policy

We all get busy, and we understand that special circumstances are unavoidable and a cancellation of your appointment may be necessary. 
 

In case you find yourself unable to attend an appointment, we kindly request you to inform us as soon as possible but no later than 24 hours before the appointment. This courtesy enables us to schedule another client in this time. If  24 hours notice isn’t given your deposit will be lost. If you simply do not show up, you will incur a fee equivalent to 100% of the booked appointment.

Please ensure you are on time for your appointment as a courtesy to the client that follows. If you are more than 15 minutes late than the appointed time without or without prior notice, we cannot guarantee we will be able to complete your treatment for you. If your treatment is unable to be completed due to being late, we has the right to postpone the appointment to another available time, and the above cancellation policy will apply and deposit will be lost. 
 

Any payment or deposit paid for your appointment is non-refundable and will be placed on an account with us. This is transferable and can be used for future appointments only if it is booked within a month of the original booked appointment. 

In case of an appointment cancellation by Lustre and Co. , we has an obligation to inform the customer as soon as possible, but no later than 24 hours before the appointment. 
 

Appointments can be booked via our booking website. Please do not select a different treatment to that which you would like to book as only the treatments listed at those times are available. If you select one and ask for a different treatment upon arrival we ay not be able to accommodate them. 
 

If you are looking for an appointment, but do not see any available times on our online booking system. Give us a call as we may be able to rearrange our book to make an appointment work for you. 
 

Upon your first visit to Lustre and Co. you will be asked to fill in a consultation card including details of medical history, and sign the indemnity statement declaring the answers are true and correct. This is for your own wellbeing and is essential for any treatments to be carried out. Refusal to fill out and sign a consultation card will result in refusal of treatment. 
 

Group Deposit and Bookings

To secure a group booking we kindly ask that the group pays a 50% deposit. Payment is non-refundable in the event of cancellation, unless at least 7 days advance notice is given.
 

Refunds & Complaints

We do not offer refunds on treatments already done and paid for. If you are unhappy in anyway, please let us know as soon as possible – preferably before paying for your service and leaving the salon – but no later than within 3 working days and we will work with you to rectify the situation. 
 

We operate a re-do policy at Lustre and Co. , which means we may offer to re-do your service for you within a scale of free of charge if we feel it appropriate. As we have high costs to cover, including product, wages, time and utilities, this is our policy instead of offering a refund. You may be invited back into the salon so we can assess the problem and work with you. Please note that photo may not be accepted due to the difficulty of verifying when they were taken. In the event of us accepting a photo, the original photo information must be present, i.e. the date and time stamp. 
 

Payment

Lustre and Co. lists all prices of treatments and products visible in our salon. The listed prices include 15% GST. We indicates price changes 30 days before the effective date visible in the salon.

Offers are valid only in the specified period and/or while stocks last. The customer must immediately pay after the treatment. Kiwi Beauty Salon accepts cash, debit card, internet banking, Paypal, Afterpay and Oxipay.
 

Liability

Lustre and Co.  is not liable for damages of any kind caused by us due to customer provided incorrect and/or incomplete information on relevant physical disorders, drug use, work or leisure.

We do not responsible for loss, theft or damage to personal property that the customer has taken to our salon.


Warranty

In the event you chip your nails within 3 days for gel polish (5 days for Dip Powder), please report this with a photo to our Facebook messenger or info@lustreandco.nz and we will offer you a free touch – up on the effected nails within 7 days. Outside this period there will be a small fee. 
 

This warranty is void if:

  • The customer has the (artificial) nails serviced by another nail shop.

  • The customer works without gloves with harsh chemicals.

  • The customer accidentally break their nails. 

  • The customer has the artificial nails bitten or intentionally aborted.

  • The customer used products other than those recommended by the nail shop for the maintenance of the (artificial) nails.

  • The customer has not followed the advice from the nail shop for the home care of (artificial) nails.

  • The customer neglects the advised to seek medical help.

  • The customer did not use the products according to the instructions.
     

Damage & Theft

Lustre & Co. has the right to claim financial compensation if the customer damages furniture, equipment or products. Lustre and Co always reports any criminal activities to the police.
 

Conduct

The customer should behave properly by generally accepted standards. If the customer after repeated warnings continues to expose improper behaviour, the shop has the right to refuse the customer access to the salon without giving reasons.


Mobile Phones & Tablets

Please ensure your cell phone and tablets are switched to silent before you enter the beauty room to respect other guests’ relaxation time.

 

Gift Vouchers

Gift Vouchers are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase unless otherwise stated. They are non-refundable and non-transferable, but any treatments can be swapped – with notice – to other treatments if required. Just let us know what you would prefer, and we can settle the difference at your appointment if needed. 
 

Gift Vouchers must be presented at reception upon arrival for the booked treatment. Failure to attend an appointment will result in full or partial payment for your visit to be deducted from your gift voucher. We will however honour the remaining balance of the voucher for future use.
